At all Omega Sector Training (OST) courses, safety is our main priority, especially on the range. In your welcome packets there will be a contract between OST and students that will outline the below safety policies. ALL of our policies are NON-NEGOTIABLE, we believe that every student deserves the right to an expectation of a safe learning environment. We reserve the right to request anyone not behaving responsibly and safely, or behaving in a hostile or threatening manner, to leave our training immediately to ensure the safety of every student. Every student is required to sign this waiver of liability and safety contract before starting any of our classes.
PER FEDERAL LAW: Instructors at OST may not train or certify any individuals that fall into the below categories. By attending training with OST you are certifying that you are not a person who:
SAFETY POLICY
All students attending Omega Sector courses, acknowledge that the reaction to, possession of, and/or use of firearms is potentially dangerous, and involves risk of serious personal injury, death, psychological trauma, and/or other personal and financial liability. The student agrees to assume all risk and waives any and all claims of liability for personal injury, death, psychological trauma, and/or other personal or financial loss. All students will sign and provide (prior to training) an OST Safety and Waiver of Liability contract prior to any training taking place. This includes classroom-based courses.
RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY (received in training welcome packets)
All students are required to present a valid Driver's License or State Issued ID when checking in for any OST course. All students are expected to arrive on time and fit to participate in training. Students will arrive with a signed waiver prior to training. Students are required to attend the entire course of instruction, therefor students arriving late will be turned away. Please arrive early to allow time for check-in.
ARRIVAL AND ATTENDANCE POLICY
All students attending OST training must bring, eye protection, hearing protection (unless otherwise agreed on with OST instructors), these can also be rented at the range, and all ammunition (unless your training package clearly states that the ammunition is included). No firearms or ammunition are allowed in the classroom, all items brought into the classroom will be checked prior to entering the classroom. Firearms and ammunition should be stored securely in your vehicle until instructed to bring them into the training facility. Students may bring their own firearm for use during live-fire training; however, the firearm should be unloaded (clear of all ammunition) prior to entering the training facility. You must make the instructor aware prior to training what firearm you are bringing to training. Firearms must be cased or holstered when entering the training facility. Students who bring a firearm must be familiar with the particular functions of their firearm. OST reserves the right to prohibit firearms it deems unsafe at the live-fire range. No reloaded ammunition of any kind will be used in training. Only American manufactured ammunition will be fired in training courses for the safety of all participants.
PURCHASE/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS/TRANSFERS POLICY
Cancellations will not be accepted for any reason. No refunds will be issued for any reason. Re-scheduling of classes for any cancellations are at the discretion of OST instructors and are not a guarantee.
All students attending OST courses must officially register/enroll via the OMEGA SECTOR TRAINING website. Full payment of the class cost is due at the time of registration/enrollment. By purchasing items via the OST website, you acknowledge that you have read and understand all OST policies, to include the Release and Waiver of Liability, and agree to comply with them fully. All students are required to sign a waiver of liability before each course begins.
